E-mail Questions
What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, simply contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-408-1210, and we will be happy to re-set it for you.
How many e-mail addresses can I have?
Prime Time Communications provides up to five e-mail addresses at no additional charge.
What are the Prime Time Communications mail server settings?
Our incoming Webmail server is mail.ptcomm.tv
Our outgoing Webmail server is also mail.ptcomm.tv
How much space do I get for each e-mail account?
Prime Time does not set a space limit on e-mail accounts, however, any e-mails remaining
within your Webmail inbox after 120 days will be automatically deleted. In order to ensure that
your e-mails are left in place on the server, please create personal folders into which they may be
moved. Prime Time will not delete e-mails stored within personal folders on the Webmail server.
Is there size limit placed on the files I can attach to my e-mail?
No size limit applies to the files that may be attached to your e-mail, however, Prime Time
recommends that large files be compressed with a program such as Winzip before attaching them
to your e-mail.
Where can I change the SPAM settings for my e-mail?
Your SPAM settings may only be changed in Webmail – which you may access by going to
mail.ptcomm.tv – please be aware that the server holds only five days worth of SPAM mail.
Digital Internet Questions
Do I need a modem to access Prime Time’s Digital Internet service?
With Prime Time’s fiber optic network, a modem is not necessary to access the Internet. The
service is “plug-and-play,” so simply attach your home computer to an Ethernet jack (slightly
larger than a phone jack) using a CAT5e cable.
Digital Television Questions
Do I need a separate set top box for every television in my home?
Yes, every television in your home that utilizes Prime Time’s Digital Television service
requires an individual set top box.
Digital Telephone Questions
Do I need a special phone to use Prime Time’s Digital Telephone service?
No, a special phone is not required in order to utilize our voice service.
